Engine oil and filter, full inspection, tire rotation
Oil and filter, tire rotation, brake fluid, transmission fluid and alignment offers rotate every month — all of this month’s coupons sit in one place.
Every Maintenance Minder message starts with a main code. It tells you how deep the visit goes. Everything after it is an extra job stacked on top.
Oil only. The filter and the full inspection wait for the next B. It is the shorter of the two visits and the one most people see first.
Oil, a new filter, and a proper look over the brakes, fluids, suspension, steering, exhaust, driveshaft boots and parking brake. This is the visit that catches things early.
A code can carry more than one number. B123 is not a special service — it is a B visit with jobs 1, 2 and 3 added to it.
Tires moved front to rear, pressures set to spec and tread depth measured.
Engine air cleaner element and the dust and pollen filter replaced, drive belt inspected.
Automatic transmission fluid replaced, plus transfer fluid on all-wheel drive models.
Spark plugs replaced, timing belt replaced where fitted, water pump inspected, valve clearance adjusted.
Cooling system drained and refilled with Honda long-life coolant.
Rear differential fluid replaced — all-wheel drive models only.
Brake fluid replaced. Not every Honda uses this code; on the rest it is a time-based job we flag during a B inspection.
Read the code off the dash, find it below, and you will know what the visit involves before you pick up the phone.
Engine oil replaced and the tires rotated. The most common code on the board and usually the quickest visit of the year.
Engine oil and filter replaced, the full multi-point inspection carried out, and the tires rotated. The workhorse Honda service.
Engine oil, tire rotation, and both filters — engine air cleaner and cabin dust and pollen filter — replaced.
Everything in a B1, plus the engine air filter and cabin filter. A common combination at higher mileage.
Engine oil, tire rotation and a transmission fluid replacement. Worth booking ahead so the fluid is on the shelf.
The big one: oil and filter, full inspection, tire rotation, both filters and transmission fluid in a single visit.

Call Us Now - 631-636-0042Schedule ServiceYour Honda starts at 100% oil life and counts down based on how the car is actually driven — short trips, towing and stop-start traffic burn through it faster than highway miles.
For most Hondas on full synthetic that works out somewhere between 5,000 and 7,500 miles, or once a year, whichever lands first. The Maintenance Minder is reset as part of the service, so the countdown starts clean when you drive away.

An A code is usually an Express Service walk-in. Anything with a 3, 4 or 6 in it needs booking ahead so the fluid or the parts are on the shelf when you arrive. Not able to make the trip? We offer complimentary pick-up and delivery — we collect your Honda, service it and bring it back.
A B1 covers an engine oil and filter change, the full multi-point inspection that comes with any B code, and a tire rotation with pressures set to spec.
An A1 is an engine oil change plus a tire rotation. It is the shorter of the two main visits — the oil filter and the full inspection come with the next B code.
A means replace the engine oil. B means replace the engine oil and the filter, and inspect the brakes, fluids, suspension, steering, exhaust and parking brake. B is the deeper visit.
At 15% the car is telling you to book something in, not to stop driving. At 5% it changes to service due now, and below 0% it counts negative miles. Do not make a habit of the negative numbers.
No. It works from how the car is actually driven — engine temperature, trip length, load and driving conditions. That is why two identical Hondas can show different codes at the same odometer reading.
For an A code, usually not — Express Service takes walk-ins during service hours. Codes with a 3, 4 or 6 in them need booking ahead so the fluids and parts are waiting for you.
We do, as part of the service, so the countdown starts clean. If the light was reset without the work being done, tell us and we will check the service history against your VIN.
Yes. Every visit is logged against your VIN in Honda’s own system — which is exactly the service history a warranty claim asks for.
Of course. Where you bought it makes no difference to what we can do for it.
Tell us the letter and the numbers exactly as they appear on your dash and we will tell you what the visit involves.
